In 2016, Tom Holland, an atheist author wrote an article titled “Why I Was Wrong About Christianity” for the New Statesman.
In it he said that he had come to realise he was incorrect to have thought in the past that his own western values derived from the Greece and Rome of antiquity. He had, as an atheist, inherited his values from Christianity.
